Welcome
Thank you for visiting our website! We are the Johnson Family, along with Mason Hovey and Cheyenne Simmons. We are located just outside of Grundy Center, Iowa. We love to share our llamas (and alpaca!) with people whether it be at a show, parade, public event, or just here at home! Andrea and Erika run the 4-H program in the neighboring county and love teaching youth about llamas! Even if you do not buy a llama from us, we love to talk llamas and share our experience.
We started Heroes and Friends Farm in 2006. Raelyn, Andrea and Erika started showing at a young age through the local 4-H Program in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We quickly bought a few of our own to show and it's history from there. When we started our herd we were just showing in performance, but over the past few years with the help of a few friends and mentors, we have shifted out focus to producing our type of llama. We have built our breeding herd over the past couple years and are now producing 8-10 Crias a year! We take the time to work with each Cria individually and decide what purpose they would be best suited for. Erika and Andrea take the time to carefully plan out our breeding pairs so we can produce our ideal llama. |
Work hard in silence and let the success speak for itself!
